SUMMER SESSION: WEEK 3

4 consecutive days: 6/15/25 - 6/18/25

Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, & Thursday; 12:00 pm- 2:00 pm

Jean Dubuffet was a French painter and sculptor known for his rebellious approach to art. He challenged traditional ideas of beauty, “good taste,” and high culture. While many artists worked with marble, bronze, and oil paint, Dubuffet chose unconventional materials—using recycled scraps and even mixing gravel into his paint.

He called his work “Art Brut,” or “raw art,” and created a world driven purely by imagination and personal expression. In this class, students will explore Dubuffet’s free-form abstract sculptures by working with recycled materials, plaster, and paint to create bold, imaginative pieces of their own.

This class runs for 4 consecutive sessions; Monday 6/15/26, Tuesday 6/16/26, Wednesday 6/17/26, & Thursday 6/18/26; 12:00 pm -2:00 pm

Payment plan available: $100 deposit plus 2 payments of $110.00, paid every four weeks.
