This class is specfically designed for adult artists.

Georgia O’Keefe became a painter well-known for her exploration of nature through her Art. Focusing on the center of a flower or a very small detail, she created large scale, abstract images. In photographic terms she “zoomed in” or used macro points of view to draw from. Not only will students learn to create these compositions, they will learn how to vary colors in their paintings from light to dark enhancing the vibrancy of these artworks. Students will sketch in watercolor and gouache and final paintings in acrylic. (We use a non-toxic method of oil painting.)

This 6 session class runs on Friday mornings; 10:00am -12:00pm; 9/4/26, 9/11/26, 9/18/26, 9/25/26, 10/2/26, & 10/9/26.
