This class is specifically designed for artists in 6th through 12th grade.
In our studio, still-life and landscape painting, offer students a set of skills to navigate each challenges. Paramount is drawing, meaning the ability to create composition, form, light, and shadow. This Portrait Painting class will be taught in a classical manner. Students will create studies in charcoal, pencil, and acrylic paint. This challenges each artist to use realistic drawing, anatomy, and harmonious colors to give their portrait, likeness and emotional depth.
This class runs for 6 sessions on Thursdays; 4-5:30pm, 8/20/26, 8/27/26, 9/3/26, 9/10/26, 9/17/26, and 9/24/26.
Payment plan available:
$100
deposit plus 2 payments of $96.66, paid every four weeks. Final payment of $96.68.
