Making art is all about playing. Artists need time to experiment with materials and mark-making before they find their individual style. Many of us can recognize a Picasso, a van Gogh, or a Frida Kahlo very quickly, but what makes those Works so recognizable? They found their voices. This 6 week workshop will give you the chance to play with many different techniques and materials as you interpret a portrait of your choice.Without pressure, this is a chance to create 8 pieces using 8 different processes! How intriguing is that?!! No experiences needed for this class except a wonderful, curiosity and appreciation for the arts! Please join us and take home 8 finished portraits!
